An exceptionally beautiful location with lots of walks on every level. The cottage was beautifully presented and clean.

Ideal location for walkers including those just looking for an easy stroll along the Wye Valley riverside paths. No shortage of excellent tea shops etc and nearby towns of Monmouth and Chepstow well worth exploring if the weather isn't at its best. The Coach House is very well equipped and would be a suitable holiday base at any time of year.

The accommodation was clean and homely, and the villagers of Tintern were very welcoming and helpful. The walks around the area were wonderful!

I already have told all our friends about the cottage and the beauty of the surrounding area. I am 70 and my wife is 67 and when my wife says that it was like a second honeymoon you just have to have got it right!!

There are lovely walks and views locally, 4 pubs are all within a 5 minute walk that serve food. A good location to get to places, Chepstow races is 10 minutes away, Chepwstow town 15 minutes and Cardiff 30 - 40 minutes away. We found it a really good base, we went to the shopping outlet, coal mine, Cardiff, and we were in the car for an hour. On the door step there are lovely places to go walking with the dog. A totally relaxing week away and the house was fab, it felt like you were at home!
